Congratulations to Mr. Jones!

Teacher of the Year 2008-2009
 

     Mr. Cedric Jones has been selected by his peers to represent Summit Parkway Middle School as our 2007-08 Teacher of the Year. Mr. Jones began his career at this school as a student teacher for Mr. Newman. He did such a great job that Mr. Tanner hired him to teach seventh grade social studies...and we are so glad he did!  Students enjoy being in his classes because he makes learning exciting and is genuinely interested in their welfare.

     Mr. Jones likes sports and is a football coach at Richland Northeast High School.  He attended Dorman High School and the University of South Carolina.  

     Mr. Jones is an extraordinary teacher.  We are extremely proud that he is part of our Summit Parkway Family!
