Four-year plan:
- High school graduation requirements

HSAP testing = exit exam (required for diploma)
College Testing:
- PSAT (practice for SAT; qualifying test for National Merit & National Achievement Scholars in fall of 11th grade)
- SAT I (recommend January or April of Sophomore year, then again in May or June)
- SAT II (recommend for competitive schools; take after AP testing in Junior or Senior year)
- PLAN (practice for ACT)
- ACT (equal to SAT but has four sections: English, Math, Reading, Science)
- ASSET (for Midlands Tech, take in Senior year; SAT required for nursing or engineering)

Requirement for grade classification:

Freshman promotion from 8th grade

Sophomore 5 credits, including 1 unit in English and 1 in math

Junior 12 credits, including 2 units in English and 2 in math

Senior 18 credits, including 3 units in English and 3 in math

Free tutoring:
- Afterschool (Monday–Thursday) 3:40–4:40 p.m.; see teacher or counselor for schedule
- During school hours in the Tutoring and Testing Center, E109: see Judy Giles or Elaine Suddeth

Importance of extracurricular activities and community service
School conduct: includes respect for others, school property. No harassment or fighting
Withdrawal Policy: WF (0 credit) after 5 days in a semester-long class and after 10 days in a year-long class
