Jessica Walsh Head coach Born in Columbia on August 5, 1983, Coach Walsh attended Spring Valley High School, where she was first team All-State, All-Region, and Player of the Year. She was named to the State Sports Report All-State team and Sports Report Player of the year. She was named Spring Valley's Most Valuable player in 1999, 2000, and 2001. In 2001 she was named Sports Report player of the month. She also led the Lady Vikings to the playoffs all four years as well as two state championship appearances. She went on to play Softball at Wingate University. She hit a homerun in her first collegiate softball game. Coach Walsh was also recruited by USC, UT Chattanooga, Furman, College of Charleston, and Virginia Tech. She coached at Spring Valley in 2002 and Dreher in 2003-2004. |
