Dear member of the Cavalier family,

As an RNE graduate, you are a member of a unique and proud tradition! Throughout its more than 30-year history, Richland Northeast, in partnership with the community, has ensured challenging academic opportunities that advance individual growth and prepare responsible global citizens. For the past 20 years, the school’s partner in this mission has been the RNE Foundation, a nonprofit, tax-exempt educational organization.

The RNE Education Foundation exists to raise and disburse funds in support of our school’s educational programs. We award grants to teachers for programs that are not covered by departmental budgets yet are worthy for the school. We give scholarships to deserving students so that all can participate in extracurricular activities. In fact, the foundation gives back to the school more than 95 percent of all the donations we receive.

Our primary source of fund raising is the generosity of you — the Cavalier family. Please consider making a donation now in any amount or at one of the following levels:

30 bucks for 30 years                 Cavalier Donor (up to $100)            Orange & Blue Patron ($101-$200)            Silver Supporter ($201 and up)

Just send a check or money order (payable to the Richland Northeast Education Foundation) to:
         RNE Education Foundation
         Post Office Box 25095
         Columbia, SC 29224-5095

After we receive your donation, we’ll send you an acknowledgment to use for tax purposes (please make sure to include your mailing address).

Thank you in advance for your consideration.

     Sincerely,
     Scott Price
     President, Richland Northeast Education Foundation

I participated in football, wrestling, and track while attending RNE. I was co-captain of the wrestling team in '03-'04 season, then went to Newberry College on a wrestling grant. I finished the year as a national qualifier in the heayweight division as a freshman ranking as high as #3 in the nation. Now, I just finished my second year of coaching at RNE as the assistant wrestling coach to Richard Bonneville. I was at Hammond School for my first year of coaching, helping them to their second consecutive state title. I'm looking to have many more years of keeping the youth off the streets while being a wrestling coach. I also plan to stay with the RNE family as long as time can tell. Go Cavs!!!
