You and your immediate family are leaving Independence, Missouri and heading west on the Oregon Trail. You have promised to write letters to your best friend in Independence to tell him/her all about your adventures on your trip west.

Find out about difficulties faced by pioneers on the Oregon Trail as well as foods eaten, dangers encountered, and where people went at the end of the trail.
