What's the PTO?
Lake Carolina Elementary's PTO (Parent
Teacher Organization) exists to to coordinate events, volunteers,
and to raise funds to improve and benefit the school. All parents and
teachers are automatically members of our PTO. Being involved with the
PTO is a wonderful way to support your school, and your child's
education. Whatever interests or
skills you have, there's a place for you in the PTO.
Interested in serving on the PTO
Board?
The PTO is accepting applications for
the 2008-09 school year. Applications are due by April 28, 2008 and
elections will be held on May 1.
Meetings: PTO
meetings are normally scheduled once a month on a Thursday at 6:30pm in the LCE Media Center. Any change in the date or time will
be announced in the Communi-Gator.
PTO Board Meeting Minutes
Fundraisers:
The PTO sponsors fundraisers throughout the school year. Please check
the school calendar, Communi-Gator, classroom newsletters, and
PTO newsletters for more information.
Family Fun Night:
The PTO sponsors a Family Fun Night each quarter. This is an opportunity
for families to spend time together and get acquainted with other
Lake Carolina families. It's a great opportunity to make new friends or
just spend time with those you know already.
