A team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a high net.

There is a $25 tryout fee and a $25 participation fee.

Monday - Thursday; Games are scheduled for Wednesdays.

This sport is open to 7th and 8th grade students that have at least a C average.

Students need a current physical, proof of insurance, copy of birth certificate and parent permission.

Students must have a ride to pick them up on time in order to tryout.

Each team tries to score points against one another by grounding a ball on the other team’s court.

Volleyball involves fundamental skills of passing, setting, spiking, serving and blocking.

Concepts of team play including offensive and defensive strategy are also involved.
