Apply to CFK

Applying to the Center for Knowledge:

Richland Two magnet applications can be completed on-line. Beginning January 4, 2010, Magnet applications will be available on the Richland School District Two website at: www.richland2.org

Any child living in Richland School District Two, who will be in grades Kindergarten through Fifth, may apply.   Each application will be entered into the random sampling (“lottery”). If your child is not selected during this process, their application will be kept in a waiting “pool” through the first month of school should any openings become available. After the first month of school no new students will be accepted.

• Registration Begins: January 4, 2010
• CFK Orientation:  January 5, 2010 at 6:30 p.m.
• Application Deadline: January 29, 2010 at 5 p.m.
• Online Notification: March, 2010

Important Information for Rising Kindergartners: 

If your child will be five years old by September 1, he or she is eligible to apply for kindergarten at CFK.  PLEASE NOTE: Each child must also register at the school he or she is zoned for, and must provide all enrollment documents to that school, in addition to CFK.
