Susanne Pender is thrilled to begin her eighth year at the Center for Inquiry within the 2nd/3rd grade loop and fourteenth year in education. Growing up in Chicago, Mrs. Pender came to South Carolina ten years ago. She is married to Preston Pender and loves being a mother of 4 year old boy/girl twins and a 2 year old boy. She loves to camp, explore nature, enjoy music and spend time with her family. She feels very blessed to have the opportunity to work with such amazing colleagues, children and families at the CFI. The close community and genuine learning which occur here are some of the reasons why Mrs. Pender considers this school her home. She believes that each classroom is filled with 23 teachers and learners and that each day provides new opportunities to live, learn and grow together!
