INTRODUCING....Mrs. Johnson

My name is Nichelle Johnson, and I’m so excited to be joining Bethel-Hanberry Elementary as a third grade teacher this year.  I have two little “rustlers” of my own who have been attending BHE since Child Development and will be entering first grade this year.  I have also previously taught first and second grades.  Last year I taught second grade at Windsor Elementary.

I have been living in Blythewood for more that two years, but I’m a native of San Diego, California.  My husband retired from the U. S. Navy a few years ago and we moved here to his home state.  I have been enjoying reading about South Carolina history this summer, in fact, reading is my favorite hobby.  I do a lot of reading in my spare time.  I also enjoy walking outdoors, although I haven’t been doing too much of that lately (too hot!).

When I’m not working much of my time is spent doing activities with my children, such as visiting the library, going to Chuck E. Cheese, and watching movies.

Well, it’s time for me to “round up” my introduction.  I’m looking forward to meeting all of you, and I know we will have a wonderful year!
