Student Achievements:
Congratulations to the following
students: John Brooks and Samantha Reynolds were named
Commended Students for the National Merit Scholarship. Brittany Pifer
is a SemiFinalist for the National Merit Scholarship.
Jori Kelly, Gabriel Bethel, and Deandre Harris
are Semifinalists for the National Achievement Scholarship.

The Future Visions C.U.B.S. (Celebrating Unbelievable
Bengal Students) award is designed to recognize students that are making a
strong transition from middle to high school. Students were selected
by their teachers based on their work ethic, attitude, behavior and
performance in class.

Chef William Turner has been named the National Restaurant
Association's Educator of Excellence for South Carolina. He is now
a finalist for their National Teacher of the Year award. Way to go

Congratulations to Scott Auspelmyer for receiving The SCCSS
Teacher of Excellence
Award and for being named the 2009 Outstanding Secondary
Teacher of the Year by the National Council for Social Studies.
