Attention Seniors: There will be a practice for graduation on Wednesday, May 21 at 7:45 a.m. in the gym. Seniors projecting graduation should report to the large gym, be seated, and follow the posted directions. Seniors planning to participate in the graduation ceremony must be sure that all school debts have been cleared and all required courses have been passed. If you have any questions about fees, please see Mrs. Carman in the main office. If you have any questions about your required courses, please speak with your guidance counselor.

Reminder: Students who checked out books for a first semester course must have all first semester books returned by April 30th or they will be issued a debt for the cost of the outstanding textbooks. This does not apply to students enrolled in year-long courses.

Congratulations to Charmeika Goodwin, Brittany Mougan, and Mona Patel. They are the first BHS students to pass the Certified Nursing Assistant Exam. They are qualified to work in hospitals, nursing homes, and other health care facilities as CNA's.

The Blythewood High School Culinary Management Team placed 4^th in the 2008 S.C. Hospitality Student Invitational “Coach’s Recipe Challenge” which took place in Myrtle Beach, SC on January 28^th & 29^th .They will receive medals and scholarships to attend culinary arts school. Congratulations to Lila Abraham! She was named the Outstanding New Career and Technical Teacher at the South Carolina Health and Science Technology Educators conference. In addition, she has been named President-Elect for the association for the 2008-2009 school year.
