Parker Allen and Damon Postal’s recently signed
letters of intent to play golf. Parker is going to College of
Charleston and Damon to Winthrop University.

Rachel Wyatt and Erin Watkins made the All-Region

Kelsey Badmaev
finished in third overall at the State Tournament for the second
year in a row and by doing so made the All-State Team again.

Girls Golf Team:
Congratulations to the Girls Golf Team, they won the Region Championship Monday
10/19/2009. They will move on to play in the state championship tournament next
Monday and Tuesday.
Volleyball:
The Region 4 4-A
All Star Volleyball Team is comprised of only the top six
senior players in each region. Two of those coveted spots have been
filled with our very own Blythewood Senior Volleyball Players! Please
congratulate Caleen Hawkins and Andrea Keesee....our
All Stars!!!!
The Region 4 4-A
All Region Volleyball Team is comprised of the top 8 Varsity
volleyball players in each region. Again, two of those precious spots
have been filled with our very own Blythewood Bengal's Volleyball
Players! Help me congratulate Caleen Hawkins and
Courtney Williams.
The top 8 players' names
from each region are then submitted so that the All-State team can be
comprised. Typically, only one but very rarely two players from each
region is/are selected. This year however, 4 players from Region 4 4-A
were selected.....Caleen Hawkins and Courtney
Williams were among those selected to represent the
All-State Volleyball Team this year! Rock Hill's coach said
she had never seen such a thing in her 19 years of coaching!
If that were not enough,
there's more. Only ONE player from each region is named Player
of the Year.......this year our very own Caleen Hawkins
holds this title!!!!

Kelsey Badmaev won the individual region championship shooting a
76. Rachel Wyatt, was named to the All-Region team with
